MyLastTab is anonymous by design. This page explains, in plain language, what the app stores and what it never stores.

Informational only, pending review
This page is informational and is not legal advice. It is provided as a starting point and must be reviewed by the site owner and legal counsel before launch.
Anonymous by design
MyLastTab has no accounts and no login. You write a short description of your last browser tab and we show it as part of an anonymous, collective picture of the internet. We do not read your browser tabs and you decide what to write and send.
What we store
For each submission we keep the short description text, a category, a mood, a language hint, the local hour and timezone, the assigned city lot, and a daily salted SHA-256 hash of your IP address used only for rate limiting and to de-duplicate reactions. The raw IP address is not kept.
What we never store
We never store raw IP addresses, your name, an account, an email tied to your entries, your browsing history, the URLs you visit, or screenshots.
Contact and newsletter
If you email us through the contact form or subscribe to the newsletter, the email and message you provide are used only to reply or to send occasional updates. The newsletter is single opt-in and subscribers are not stored in a database, and these emails are not linked to your entries.
